| The Blue Buses of Forest Road |

has been published by
John Birchmeier
on Pioneer Coaches of Bexley. This excellent 93 page A4 book covers the history of the company from the horse buses operated from 1900 until the company was taken over by Connex last year. It includes colour & B&W pictures of many vehicles and the depots, route maps, a fleetlist, timetables, sample tickets and a very detailed history of the company and its many owners. It is available from the Bus & Truck Museum bookshop at Tempe.
The price is $35.00, and $31.50 for HCVA Members (don't forget your membership card).
