GROUP VISITS & TOURS
IDEAL FOR SENIORS & SCHOOL GROUPS

The Sydney Bus Museum tells the story of the history of bus transportation, particularly in NSW, through Australia’s largest collection of historic buses and bus memorabilia.

Visitors are able to see a wide variety of buses on display and gain insights into the way in which bus transportation has changed and continues to change people’s lives.

We are able to accommodate seniors groups, school groups, community groups, enthusiast tours and birthday parties.

Tours typically last for 2 hours and are available most days by prior arrangement. Groups typically visit from 10:30am - 12:30pm. We can tailor timings to suit your groups and their needs.

Example Itinerary
10:30am - 11:15am: A Guided Tour or Educational Activities with one of our volunteers
11:15am - 11:45am: Free Time at the museum to explore the collection and visit the Bus Shop
11:45am - 12:30pm: Vintage Bus Ride to Huntley's Point or Milsons Point

There are two options for the vintage bus ride.
1. Huntleys Point via Victoria Road and the Gladesville Bridge
2. Milsons Point via the Anzac and Harbour Bridge
These rides take approximately 45 minutes and include a photo stop.

The minimum amount to secure a group booking for visits which are outside of our regular Open Days is $400. This includes a $100 museum opening fee and $300 minimum spend on admission.

To make a booking, or for further information, please email info@sydneybusmuseum.com.
All group bookings must be made at least 2 weeks before the day.

The Sydney Bus Museum is wheelchair accessible, however owing to their vintage nature the buses themselves are not.

We are able to accommodate Birthday Parties on our Open Days. Regular admission fees apply
for all guests, plus $100 birthday fee.
This $100 includes access to a private party room for you and your guests. You will have
access to this room for 3 hours, either from 10am - 1pm or 1pm - 4pm. Your group will also get
priority boarding for one of our double deck bus services, or for an additional cost, a dedicated bus
trip just for your group.

Attention Charter Bus Operators:
The Museum is of limited parking and turning space, so unfortunately we are unable to accommodate articulated and 3 axle buses. Smaller buses can be parked on site, however could you please call the Museum on 9572 6789 before arrival to confirm.
