V-Set to Kiama

The Sydney Bus Museum and Sydney Tramway Museum is hosting an unforgettable day aboard an Intercity V-set to the stunning South Coast! Enjoy scenic views, photo stops along the way, and a free connecting shuttle bus around Kiama.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Upon arrival in Kiama, guests can enjoy a day of exploration, with a free shuttle bus provided operated by Warrigal Charters, connecting visitors with local highlights including:

  • Kiama Village Shopping Centre

  • Kiama Bowling Club

  • Kiama Blowhole and Lighthouse

  • Kiama Harbour

Buses will run every 10–15 minutes from Kiama Station, with the last departures from Kiama Lighthouse and Kiama Village at 1:55pm.

Step aboard one of New South Wales’ most iconic trains, the stainless-steel V-set, for a full day of heritage rail travel from Sydney Central to Kiama. Known for their comfort, panoramic windows, and timeless design, these 1970s-built trains have become a cherished part of NSW’s railway history.

 

Enjoy a relaxed and scenic trip down the South Coast, featuring photo stops at historic stations along the way, including Thirroul, Shellharbour Junction, and Scarborough, arriving in Kiama at 12:15.
