London Bus Day 2025

On Sunday, 4th of May, the Sydney Bus Museum transformed into a vibrant tribute to British transport heritage for its annual London Transport Day. This much-anticipated event delighted visitors with a showcase of iconic London double-decker buses and a celebration of all things British.

The event featured three genuine London double-decker buses, including the renowned AEC RT3708, built in 1953, and the classic AEC Routemaster RM1708, introduced to replace the aging RTs. These meticulously restored vehicles offered attendees a chance to step back in time and experience the charm of London's historic public transport.

Located at 25 Derbyshire Road, Leichhardt, the Sydney Bus Museum is open to the public on the first and third Sundays of each month. Visitors can explore a vast collection of historic buses and enjoy rides on vintage double-decker buses.
