Sutherland Heritage Festival 2025

Saturday, 3rd of May, The Sydney Bus Museum travelled to the Shire to take part in the Sutherland Shire Citizens' Heritage Festival, bringing vintage transport history to life in one of Sydney’s most vibrant communities.

The Museum proudly operated uur 1959 AEC Regal IV underfloor 3197 offering a ride through the heart of the Shire. Festivalgoers had the chance to hop aboard and enjoy the charm of mid-20th century public transport, complete with the authentic sounds, sights, and smells of a bygone era.

For many, it was a trip down memory lane. For others, especially the younger crowd, it was their first experience of travelling on a classic bus.

The Sydney Bus Museum is proud to support community events like the Sutherland Heritage Festival and looks forward to participating in more events in the future.
